Lima, OH—In honor of human trafficking awareness month, the Northwest Ohio Rescue
and Restore Coalition (NWORRC) is hosting their third annual online auction to raise money for local survivors of human trafficking. This auction is an online event and will go live, beginning February 3rd at 12am and ending on February 5th, 11:59pm. There is also an option to donate a flat amount without bidding on any items.
The NWORRC is a Coalition made up of over 30+ representatives from the community and local agencies, with Crime Victim Services serving as the fiscal agent for this Coalition. The mission is to end sex and labor trafficking by enhancing public education survivor recovery, and justice response. The coalition is comprised of 16 counties in northwest, west central, and southwest Ohio.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month from 11:30am-1pm and are open to the pubic. To learn more about the coalition, visit us at https://www.crimevictimservices.org/humantrafficking.
