The month of July is full of opportunities for the community to be involved with Crime Victim Services and learn more about what we do.
There will be information sessions to learn about volunteer opportunities, presentations on how to protect yourself and loved ones and training sessions.
On Wed., July 13 at 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish, Ottoville, there will be a presentation titled “Put up your Guard Against Scams.” There are other opportunities to see this presentation at other places within the community as follows: Wed., July 20 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the First National Bank and Wed., July 27 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Leipsic Community Center.
CASA will also be hosting the summer session volunteer training session during the week of Mon., July 18 to Sat., July 23.
Elder Victims Ministry will be hosting a presentation on Wed., July 20 at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Delphos Senior Citizens Center. The presentation is on elder abuse prevention.
Crime Victim Services will also be hosting a volunteer guardian information session on Tues., July 26 at 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Crime Victim Services office.
